SparkNetworks Debuts New Sports Prep Service in Canada

November 16th, 2010 (Toronto, Ontario) – SparkNetworks announced today that it has reached an agreement with Westwood One and Broadcaster Marketing Services to launch a new sports prep service for radio stations beginning this month. The Sports Prep Service will comb the sports press from North America’s best sports stories, combine them with relevant air-ready audio and put it all into an easily searchable database. KFNS To Launch New Afternoon Show

BIG LEAGUE BROADCASTING Sports KFNS-A-F/ST. LOUIS fills the afternoon slot left vacant after KEVIN SLATEN’s firing with a new show hosted by station veterans BOB FESCOE and BOB RAMSEY along with ZIMMER Sports KTGR-A (ESPN RADIO 1580 THE TIGER)/COLUMBIA’ MO host KYLE ELFRINK (to be known at KFNS as KYLE THOMAS). The new show will air 2-6p CT and will launch next TUESDAY. FESCOE formerly co-hosted mornings and has been a frequent fill-in since departing the morning show in JANUARY; RAMSEY had been co-hosting middays 10a-1p with FRANK CUSUMANO, who remains on the schedule solo 10a-noon. In addition, evening “SPORTS EDGE” hosts JEFF VERNETTI and JEFF GORDON will move to middays noon-2p. BMS, Gino Offer CollegeInsider.com Hoops Final

BROADCASTER MARKETING SERVICES and GINO COMMUNICATIONS are teaming to offer radio coverage of the first-ever championship game for the COLLEGEINSIDER.COM men’s college basketball tournament. The game between OLD DOMINION and BRADLEY on TUESDAY in PEORIA will be produced by CLEAR CHANNEL CINCINNATI and will air on Sports WCKY-A (1530 HOMER, THE SPORTS ANIMAL), with veteran play-by-play broadcaster FRANK SANTORE calling the action. GREENEVILLE, TN-based GINO holds the national rights for this year’s game with an option for the 2010 tournament.

BMS to Produce Ohio Valley Conference Hoops

Broadcaster Marketing Services will produce the Ohio Valley Conference (OVC) men’s basketball game of the week beginning, Saturday, January 17 with Tennessee Tech hosting Murray State. ESPN Radio 1370 WDEF in Chattanooga,

Tennessee will serve as the hub station. Veteran Play-by-play announcer Frank Santore will broadcast 8 OVC games. Each of the 10 conference schools will make at least one appearance on the 2009 schedule.






FCS Football Package To Air On WCKY Again

For the second consecutive year on terrestrial radio and the third overall, DAVID BRODY’s BROADCASTER MARKETING SERVICES, GINO COMMUNICATIONS of GREENEVILLE, TN, and CLEAR CHANNEL Sports WCKY-A (HOMER 1530, THE SPORTS ANIMAL)/CINCINNATI will team to co-produce the FCS (Football Championship Subdivision) Game of the Week.
